East Grand Rapids

East Grand Rapids is a city located just outside the city of Grand Rapids and is home to Reeds Lake.  A dense and walkable community, East Grand Rapids contains various types of historical homes, remodeled homes and some new construction. Gaslight Village is the main center of town and features a grocery store, several boutiques, many amazing restaurants and coffee shops and anything else you might need.  Jersey Junction is a favorite place for ice cream and at the end of Wealthy Street you’ll find Collins Park and Rose’s Restaurant for waterfront dining. If the Gaslight Village shopping isn’t enough, the Breton Village area just south of the city contains many upscale local and national clothing and home stores – many of them being the only location on the West Side of Michigan.

East Grand Rapids is also known for it’s many parks and recreational opportunities and beautiful waterfront library.  There are always people walking, biking and running around the lake or sailing on it.
