Even though Jenison is actually part of Georgetown Township, it has taken on it’s own identity due to it’s school and business districts. Located in Ottawa County between Grand Rapids and Holland, one is able to find a wide variety of homes from older 1960’s homes to new construction. Jenison has it’s own business district but is also located close to the Grandville area downtown and Rivertown Crossings Mall. You will find a number of fine parks and natural beauty as the Grand River touches part of the community. The Jenison Center for the Arts is an amazing resource for the students and residents of Jenison!

According to U.S. News and World Report, Jenison High School is one of highest ranking schools in the area. Out of 826 high schools it was rated #12 in the entire state of Michigan and is in the top 4% of the nation. This is due to a student to teacher ratio of 21 to 1 along with a culture that encourages a strong work ethic. This work ethic is seen in their academics, athletics, marching band, and art programs. Their passion for the arts is also seen in their amazing and large fine arts center.
